Motherland

Ongoing project that depicts hectic and colourful scenes of my everyday life. Within my painterly practice I use transparent PVC foil sheets. Transparency of the painting background enables it to be seen as an image in space, not as a static object on the wall. By using transparent background I accentuate the omnipresence of invisibility of domestic reproductive labor. Scenes of everyday life serve as reminder of an invisible, important sphere of our lives, which is not on the map of the public labor and society.
